Danbury, Connecticut is a vibrant cosmopolitan city with a quintessential New England feel. Downtown Danbury is home to multiple cultural and performing arts centers, museums, summer concerts, an ice arena, trendy boutique stores, unique restaurants, a farmers’ market and much more. To escape from the city life, Danbury has over a dozen parks and hiking trails as well as Candlewood Lake for those looking for water recreation such as fishing, boating or swimming.
UCEDA is located just two blocks away from Danbury Station on the Metro-North New Haven line, providing frequent trains south to Norwalk, Stamford, and New York City.
UCEDA International offers Intensive English Programs in the heart of Danbury. Faculty, staff and students will often lounge and snack at Nico’s, a casual Italian restaurant neighboring the school. There are worlds to explore at the Danbury Public Library right across the street, or at The Palace Theater less than one block away.
